Ironbird Creations is a new studio based in Cracow. We currently have 40+ people on board, and we are looking for talented individuals who would like to join us on our journey to create fast-paced, engaging, combat-focused games.

We are seeking a creative and talented Game Designer to join our team in developing an exciting and engaging game. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing game mechanics, systems, and features that are fun, challenging, and intuitive. You will work closely with the development team to create an immersive game experience that resonates with our players.

Responsibilities:

  • Design game mechanics, systems, and features that are fun, engaging, and intuitive
  • Create detailed design documents and specifications
  • Work with the development team to implement and iterate on designs
  • Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other team members to create a cohesive and immersive game experience
  • Analyze playtest feedback and adjust designs accordingly
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Research and incorporate player feedback to continuously improve the game experience

Our requirements:

  • At least 2 (preferably 5+) years of experience in game design
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics, systems, and player behavior
  • Expertise in Unity
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player expectations

Preferred qualifications:

• Design experience with games from the genre
• Mentoring / Lead Experience
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages
• Knowledge of level design principles
• Strong creative writing skills
